The Rufous-breasted Sparrowhawk (Accipiter rufiventris), also known as the Rufous-chested Sparrowhawk, is a species of bird of prey in the Accipitridae family. It is found in Angola, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
It forms a superspecies with Eurasian Sparrowhawk (A. nisus) and possibly Madagascar Sparrowhawk (A. madagascariensis) (Ferguson-Lees and Christie 2001).
